Vienna Town Green: Easiest “grab a coffee” and playdate meet-up spot. Open lawn and a main venue for town concerts and community events.
Meadow Lane Park: (my toddler pick!) Quiet neighborhood park with scooter space, a fun merry-go-round, sandbox, play areas, and restrooms. Fun and easy spot to host birthdays.
Vienna Centennial Park: (big kid pick!) Central “iconic Vienna” spot with the red caboose and easy access to the W&OD Trail for longer walks, running, cycling, and roller skating.
Nottoway Park: Huge park with shaded playground, trails, and lots of room for kids who like to roam, bike and play sports. It’s a good spot for hosting BBQs and birthdays. Restrooms available.
Glyndon Park: High-energy shady playground with courts nearby, good for sporty kids; restrooms available.
Local elementary school playground: Familiar, confidence-boosting, and usually the closest option for a quick outing. Some favorites are Marshall Road Elementary and Freedom Hill Elementary.
